Terms of Service
Terms of Service
The short version. Linevex is a research tool for adults 21 and over. Our picks are statistical predictions, not financial, investment or betting advice, and never guaranteed. We are not a sportsbook and never take or place bets. Every decision to bet, and every loss, is yours. All payments are final; we don't give refunds. The boards are for your personal use: don't share, resell or scrape our picks, and don't use bots or extra accounts. Disputes are resolved by individual arbitration, not class actions or jury trials, unless you opt out (Section 15).
1. Who we are and this agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Linevex LLC ("Linevex," "we," "us"). They cover linevex.app and everything we offer through it, including our models, picks, results and accounts (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Linevex
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You are responsible for knowing and following the laws where you live. Sports betting is not legal everywhere. Don't use the Service where it, or sports betting, is prohibited.
- You may not use the Service if we have suspended or closed your account.
3. What Linevex is, and is not
Linevex publishes statistical predictions about sporting events, the prices we think they are worth, and a public record of how every prediction did. Linevex is not a sportsbook. We do not accept wagers, hold funds, place bets for anyone, or have any business relationship with the sportsbooks whose prices we show, unless we clearly say otherwise.
4. Not advice, and not guaranteed
Our predictions, picks, edges, probabilities, prices and other content are for information and entertainment only. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or betting advice, and they are not a recommendation that you place any bet.
- No guarantees. Sports outcomes are uncertain. Our models can be wrong, and even a strong record includes long losing stretches. We do not guarantee any result, profit, win rate or return.
- Past results do not predict future results. Backtests and our public record describe the past only.
- Prices change. Odds move after we publish, and the price you can get may be worse than the one shown.
- Your decisions are yours. You alone decide whether to bet, how much and where, and you alone are responsible for the results, including any losses. Never bet money you can't afford to lose.
If gambling stops being fun, see our responsible gaming page or call 1-800-GAMBLER.
5. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
- An account is for one person. Don't share your login or let others use your account. We may limit how many devices can be signed in at once.
- Have one account. Don't create extra accounts, including to get around a limit, a suspension or a ban.
- Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, or to protect the Service or other users.
- Emails from us. By creating an account, you agree that we may send you emails about your account and the Service, such as sign-in and security messages, receipts, billing and renewal notices, and changes to these Terms. These are part of the Service, so you can't opt out of them while you have an account. We send news and offers only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time from your account page or the link in the email.
6. Open beta, plans and changes to the Service
From October 26, 2026 until 12:00 AM Eastern Time on November 2, 2026, the Service is in an open beta, and accounts can view our boards at no charge. After the beta, viewing the boards requires a paid plan. If you delete your account while subscribed, your subscription is canceled immediately and you will not be refunded for any time left in your billing period. We may add, change or remove features, models or sports at any time.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
- Linevex Pro is billed weekly. The price is shown before you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically every 7 days from your first charge, and we charge your payment method each time, until you cancel.
- Founder price: if you subscribe before the open beta ends, your price stays at the founder rate for as long as that subscription continues. If it ends and you subscribe again later, the price at that time applies. Founder subscriptions are not charged at sign-up: the first charge is on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM Eastern Time, they renew every 7 days from then, and all of their paid weeks are insured weeks.
- Reminders. When you subscribe, we email you a confirmation with your price, when you'll be charged, how often it renews and how to cancel. If your first charge is more than a day after you subscribe (for example, founder subscriptions), we email you a reminder before it. Your account page always shows your next charge date.
- Cancel any time from your account page in one click. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the week you've paid for.
- We may change the price for future weeks. We'll tell you at least 7 days before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, we may retry it, and your access may be paused until it goes through.
Insured weeks
Insured weeks are a promise about Mink's Bet card, offered at our discretion. They are a free renewal, not a refund, and have no cash value.
- Founder subscriptions (see above) get insured weeks. Otherwise, a subscription started on a Monday between 6:00 AM and 5:30 PM Eastern Time (or until 30 minutes before that Monday's first NHL game, if that is earlier) gets insured weeks. Because it renews every 7 days, each paid week runs Monday to Sunday. Subscriptions started at any other time are not insured.
- If the Mink Bet picks graded in an insured week (Monday through Sunday, Eastern Time) finish with a net loss in units, as shown on our results pages, your next renewal is free. Watch picks, picks from research models (Opal and Jade), voided picks and weeks with no graded Bet picks don't count. A week that breaks even is not a loss.
- Free weeks aren't insured. The paid week after a free week is insured again.
- The free renewal applies only if your subscription is still active and set to renew. If you cancel, or your subscription ends, before the renewal, there is nothing to apply it to.
- Our graded results are final for insured weeks. We may change or end insured weeks for future weeks with 7 days' notice; weeks already paid for keep the terms they were bought under.
No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. This includes partial billing periods, unused time, and plan downgrades. Apart from insured weeks as described above, we don't give refunds or credits because of the results of our picks, because you didn't use the Service, or because you canceled or deleted your account.
- Canceling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Deleting your account while subscribed cancels the subscription immediately and ends your access right away, with no refund for any time left.
- If we close your account because you broke these Terms, you won't be refunded either.
This policy applies except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
The boards are for your own personal, non-commercial use, whether you have a paid plan or are using them free during the beta. You agree not to:
- copy, share, resell, republish or redistribute our picks, cards or other content from the boards, in whole or in part, including screenshots, and including in group chats, Discord or Telegram channels, social media, pick-selling or tipster services, or other websites and apps;
- scrape, crawl, or access the Service with bots, scripts, browser automation or any other automated means, or call our APIs except through the Linevex website as a person normally would;
- collect our picks or data to build, train, test or improve any other product, service, model or dataset, including machine-learning and AI models, or to compare against or compete with Linevex;
- try to work out, extract or recreate our models, methods or data, or reverse engineer the Service;
- get around our security, rate limits, bot checks or access controls, or hide where your traffic comes from to do so;
- create accounts by automated means or under false information, or use more than one account;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms Linevex or other users.
You're welcome to share a link to Linevex, to share posts we publish publicly (for example on our social accounts), and to tell people what you think of the Service.
How we enforce this
To protect the Service, we monitor how it is used, including how often each account loads the boards. If we believe an account has broken this section, we may limit, suspend or close it, and any accounts we believe are linked to it, without notice and without a refund. We may also take legal action, including seeking a court order to stop the conduct, and recover our damages and costs to the extent the law allows.
8. Our content
The Service, including our models, picks, analysis, software, design and the Linevex name and logo, belongs to Linevex LLC and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use under these Terms. Nothing else is licensed to you.
9. Third-party information
The Service shows information from third parties, such as sportsbook prices and game statistics. We don't control that information and can't promise it is accurate, complete or current. Team, league and sportsbook names belong to their owners and do not imply any endorsement.
10. Disclaimers ("as is")
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults. To the fullest extent the law allows, Linevex disclaims all warranties and conditions, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, quiet enjoyment and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the above, we don't promise that the Service, our picks or our results will be accurate, complete, profitable, timely, secure, uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any problem will be fixed. Any information you get from the Service, including from our models, is not a warranty of any kind. Some places don't allow certain warranties to be excluded; where that applies to you, these exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Linevex LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, partners and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any betting or wagering losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, including your reliance on any pick or prediction, even if we were told such losses were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, under any legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, statute or otherwise), is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $50.
- These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and they are an essential part of the bargain between you and us. They don't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for our fraud or willful misconduct. Some places don't allow certain damages to be limited or excluded; where that applies to you, these limits apply only as far as the law allows.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Linevex LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors and partners from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) any bet or wager you place; (c) your breach of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights; or (e) content you share or redistribute in breach of Section 7. We may take over the defense of any matter you must indemnify us for, and you agree to cooperate with us. You may not settle such a matter without our written consent.
13. Termination
- By you. You can stop using the Service at any time. You can cancel your subscription from your account page, and you can delete your account from your account page. Canceling and deleting work as described in Section 6.
- By us. We may suspend, limit or close your account, or end these Terms with you, at any time and with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms (including Section 7), if your use creates risk or possible legal exposure for us or others, if we're required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. If we end the Service for everyone, or close your account for a reason other than your breach, we'll cancel your subscription so you aren't charged again.
- What happens after. When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and we may delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Payments already made are not refunded, except as Section 6 says. Sections 4, 6 (No refunds), 7 (How we enforce this), and 8 through 18 continue to apply after your account ends, along with any other terms that by their nature should.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site at least 7 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Changes to Section 15 won't apply to a dispute we already knew about before the change.
15. Dispute resolution, arbitration and class action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual binding arbitration instead of in court, and it waives your right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action. You can opt out as described below.
Talk to us first
Before starting arbitration or a court case, you and Linevex agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute, the relief you want and your contact information to support@linevex.app (we'll send ours to the email on your account). If we can't resolve it within 30 days after the notice is received, either side may start a formal proceeding. Any time limit for bringing a claim is paused during those 30 days.
Binding individual arbitration
Except as listed below, any dispute, claim or controversy between you and Linevex arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, your account, any subscription or payment, or our privacy practices ("Dispute") will be resolved by final and binding arbitration before the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, available at adr.org. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. A single arbitrator will decide the Dispute and may award the same individual relief a court could, but only for you individually. The arbitration may take place by video or phone, on written submissions, or in person in the county where you live or another place we both agree to. Fees are paid as the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules provide. The arbitrator decides all questions about whether a Dispute must be arbitrated, except that a court decides questions about the class action waiver below and about the exceptions to arbitration.
Exceptions
- Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies and stays there.
- Either side may ask a court for an injunction or other equitable relief to stop actual or threatened infringement or misuse of intellectual property, or unauthorized access to the Service, including scraping or redistributing our content in breach of Section 7.
Class action and jury trial waiver
You and Linevex each agree to bring Disputes only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding. You and Linevex each waive the right to a trial by jury. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request (and only that one) will be severed and decided in court under Section 16, after the arbitration of all other claims is finished.
Mass filings
If 25 or more similar demands for arbitration are filed against Linevex by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, the AAA's mass arbitration procedures will apply, and the demands may be administered in batches.
30-day right to opt out
You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@linevex.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Arbitration opt-out," within 30 days after you first agree to these Terms. Opting out doesn't affect anything else in these Terms or your use of the Service. If you opt out, or if this arbitration agreement is found not to apply to a Dispute, Section 16 decides where that Dispute is heard.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal law, including the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any Dispute that is not arbitrated, and any action to enforce or challenge an arbitration award, will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and Linevex consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue there. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.
17. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and anything shown to you when you subscribe, are the entire agreement between you and Linevex about the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and that part will be enforced as far as possible, except as Section 15 says about the class action waiver.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You can't transfer these Terms or your account. We may transfer them, for example as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Events outside our control. We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of our hosting, data or payment providers, league schedule changes, or natural disasters.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email on your account; they count as received when sent. You can send notices to support@linevex.app.
- Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation."
